today was officially last day of our nanhua school life. yes look how time have passed. it simply just flew past. felt just like yesterday when suddenly we were in nhhs, and yes performing at the national stadium. felt like yesterday when we were all "thrown" together into 1 whole new class, 305'08. initially, everyone was like so apprehensive and wary of each other, not willing to open up but look how far we have come now.
“It's weird...you know the end of something great is coming, but you want to hold on, just for one more second...just so it can hurt a little more.”
yes. they can say that officially our school life is over. but i know many of us out there would just love that it was not over. i believe that most of us when we first came in during secondary one we had our doubts whether nhhs was a good sch. we dreaded it and felt that our primary school was so much better. the sudden increase in number of subjects and longer hours in school meant that most of us dreaded coming to school.
but over the years, we took part in so many activities, scraped past so many lessons and most importantly, forged such strong bonds with so many of people whom we previously did not know at all. how ironic that four years later we would love the school so much that we feel that the
4 years is simply not enough
, maybe it's not perfect but we love how the school is and all the wonderful people, be it students or teachers, that allowed each and everyone of us to have such an enjoyable and enriching 4 years of school life.
“Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened.”
yes, i hope of us feel the same. now that's over, i know that's no point feeling sad over all that's has happened, or wish that we had done something more for our friends or teachers, or simply just hoping that we had treasured each other more. on the other hand, smile because we had made many new friends, friends that will hopefully stick with you throughout your whole life, as most people say that the secondary school friends will most probably be your lifetime friends.
“I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.”
we may forget what all our teachers have said during each and every lessons, but there's no denying the fact that they have help mould each of us into better person, both smarter and with a stronger character. yes, they have done a lot for us and deserve much appreciation for their selfless sacrifises that they have made for us. so thank you teachers, and i am sure we mean it from the bottom of our heart.
“I've learned that good-byes will always hurt, pictures will never replace having been there, memories good and bad will bring tears, and words can never replace feelings.”
that's the painful truth. though it officially over, there's no denying the fact that we have been a class for 2 years. hopefully everyone will be able to make it when we have a outing or hopefully a chalet after o levels. or a get-together session a few years down the road. maybe then we can reminisce all the times, both happy and sad, that we shared together.
“One day at a time--this is enough. Do not look back and grieve over the past for it is gone; and do not be troubled about the future, for it has not yet come. Live in the present, and make it so beautiful it will be worth remembering.”
yes, for now let's concentrade on our o levels. there's no reason why we are not able to obtain the outstanding grades that we are all capable of and breaking nhhs record as having one of the best msgs in history.
Our secondary life may end.. but our friendship will last forever.

has just ended. i would like to end off with one final quote.
“Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away”
this journey has been an absolutely breathtaking one, one that we surely will remember for our whole life.
